The Writing Center has several writing and grammar programs to assist students in their review of basic writing skills and mechanical errors. We also offer grammar and audio programs for non-native speakers.
Writing programs available:
- Writer's Resource– accessible and comprehensive materials/references to aid students at any level of the writing process
- Paragraph Punch – asststance in paragraph organization, focus, and structure
Grammar programs available :
- Grammar Fitness – explanation and/or review of basic grammar to assist students in improving grammatical knowledge and skills
- Focus on Grammar – emphasis on grammar mechanics and various parts of speech at the intermediate level
ESL programs available :
- AZAR Interactive – grammar and writing exercises that guide non-native speakers
- English 1 through 3 (US) – Listening and comprehension exercises
Other programs available :
- Microsoft Office Word – word processing program
- Microsoft Office Excel – spreadsheet-like programs made for graphs, tables, and content involving heavy calculation
- Microsoft Office PowerPoint – solution for digitized presentations, projects, and seminars
Tutors are available to assist students with any of these programs
